CRYSTAL is a lovely bright bay filly who stands at around 16.2 hands. Crystal was shown with success as a yearling but had a major setback as a 2 year old being struck down with EQUINE GRASS SICKNESS. Her full brother BRACKENBRAE CHIEFTAIN was also admitted to THE ROYAL (DICK) VETERINARY HOSPITAL at the same time but did not survive. Crystal managed to pull through thanks to the wonderful care she received in Edinburgh. Complications meant she was a bit backward and lacking confidence during 2012 but she was shown a few times and grew in confidence with each outing. Now thriving, she has produced four part bred foals to Bollin Terry (TB) and a pure bred colt Solstice to Thomsonbrook King William.

In May 2014 BRACKENBRAE CORUSCATION (CORI) was born. The pair had early success at shows with outings to Perth Show and particularly Kinross Show where both won their classes. Cori went on to win the INHAND HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP for THE STEVENSON CUP and was RESERVE CHAMPION in the OVERALL HUNTER CHAMPIONSHIP.

On the 27th of March 2016 Crystal gave birth to BRACKENBRAE INCANDESCENCE, her second filly foal by Bollin Terry. She is a lovely girl with a sweet personality. She was shown in 2017 with great success, the highlight was being placed reserve champion part bred Cleveland Bay at The Great Yorkshire Show. She is now living in the south of England with her uncle Brackenbrae Field Marshall.
BRACKENBRAE INCANDESCENCE (Candy)
On the 30th May 2017 Crystal gave birth to her third filly foal by Bollin Terry named BRACKENBRAE LUCENT. A girl with a big personality and a considerable amount of power. We think Lucent will make an outstanding horse in any discipline as she is blessed with speed power and intelligence and we look forward to seeing how she develops.

In 2018 Crystal produced her last foal by Bollin Terry BRACKENBRAE ULTIMATE (Tim) an enthusiastic, people-loving boy who has gone down to England to grow into an all round riding horse.
